Balada de cantera

The object is energy, an energy that is expressed through vibrations, synergies, resonances and lines of force, with languages ranging from the intuitive and visceral, to the constructive and symbolic. A representation of the internal rhythms of matter.

Sound cartography, primitive writing and symbolism. The rhythms of the hammer and the pointer when carving the marble define a ‘tempo’, a melody by repetition. The movement of the arm makes a precise parabola. Ordered forms of kinetic energy in a plane. Gestural scores, energy converted into sound.
